The Boston Navy Yard, originally the Charlestown Navy Yard, was one of the oldest U.S. Navy shipbuilding facilities in the country. It remains in service today as a Boston National Historic Park, and home to the USS Constitution (world’s oldest commission naval ship afloat), and the World War II-era destroyer USS Cassin Young (floating museum ship).
