This pier is located in Islamorada, in the Florida Keys. I felt the cloudy sky, along with the light and dark pillars on both sides of the pier, gave it a great setting for this black & white image (originally shot in color, and converted to b&w in post-processing.)

The Management and Advance Research Center (MARC), located between Primera Casa and the Frost Art Museum, is home to Florida International University’s administration offices. It also houses the Center for Leadership, Alumni Relations, and various classrooms and study areas.

The Patricia & Phillip Frost Art Museum at Florida International University is a three-story building with over 46,000 square feet of exhibit space. Admission is free, and various local and international artists’ works are always on display throughout the year.
