Photo of the Day: Selfie

On Wednesday, March 11, 2020, when the World Health Organization declared the rapidly spreading coronavirus outbreak a pandemic, there were approximately 118,000 cases reported worldwide. Today, exactly 129 days later, there are more than 14 million cases of COVID-19. COVID-19 stands for novel coronavirus disease 2019, which refers to the year of its initial detection.

As I started writing about this crazy and dangerous times, I realized there is so much to cover that it will take me longer than just this single blog entry. Therefore, I’m going to write and share my experiences during this pandemic over the course of several blog entries instead of trying to cram it all now. I will share how the new norm has affected my everyday life. Some of it has been challenging, but not all, and I will continue to incorporate some of the positive changes in my daily routines even after we collectively win this fight against COVID-19.

So, stay tuned because we are not alone; we are all in this together.
