Move Exhibit, at the Smithsonian Museum of American History, in Washington DC.

Photo of the Day: Coconut Grove Playhouse
The historic Coconut Grove Playhouse
was inaugurated in 1927 as a movie theater, housing the largest Wurlitzer organ
in the country. It was also the second movie theater on the Florida east coast
to provide air conditioned comfort to its patrons. In the 1950s it was
converted to a theater for live performances, and it remained that way until
its eventual closing in 2006.
