If you’re planning a trip to the city, I highly recommend the InterContinental in Downtown. It’s centrally located between Downtown Miami and Brickell, and adjacent to Bayfront Park. A brief walk will get you to Bayside, AmericanAirlines Arena (home of the three-times NBA Champions Miami Heat), Adrian Arsht Center for the Performing Arts, the Miami Art Museum, and the Freedom Tower, just to name a few.

Bayfront Park is a 32-acre public park in the heart of Downtown Miami. Overlooking the blue waters of Biscayne Bay, the park is host to numerous events throughout the year, including Miami’s official New Year’s Eve Party, America’s Birthday Bash on the fourth of July, the annual Ultra Music Festival, and the National Red Bull Flugtag competition, to name a few. Within the park is the Klipsch Amphitheatre, which also hosts a number of open air events and concerts, some of which have included internationally renowned artists like Maroon 5, Robert Plant, and the Goo Goo Dolls.
